PETITE BLESSING TOTEMS
Ten of my Petite Blessing Totems were in Hood River, Oregon at the Columbia Center for the Arts with the Beyond Construct exhibition. The show was up May 7, 2021 through May 30, 2021.
My Petite Blessing Totems are a body of work in clay that I began in 2019 and reflect my love of creating faces. These are a miniature version of the my larger Blessing Totems for small and intimate spaces in your home. The images that emerge are coming from my subconscious and inspired by Balinese and Mexican masks seen in my travels. Each one is unique; even though they begin from the same source, they evolve into their own beings. They are meant to bring joy and protection and blessing to your home. They range in size from 3 to 5 inches wide and designed to easily hang on the wall in your home or work place.
