In the 1990s an inspirational workshop at the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts called painting and drawing on clay brought me back to the ceramics I had loved working on while living in the 1970s in the Santa Cruz mountains. This began a series of drawing on wet clay slabs, then bisque fired and painted with acrylic paints after mounting into custom made wood frames. The painting integrating the piece into a final three dimensional finished, original, one of a kind artwork.
