INTERNATIONAL MADONNAS
This series of International Madonnas came to me in a dark night of the soul, proving to me that even in the darkest times, within lies a pure light of joy. The first two madonnas were pink and rosy-skinned, and I quickly realized as an Arab woman of color, that I wanted to reflect many women. The original paintings are 12” x 12” and I have not yet offered them for sale. The small framed prints available here are 5” x 5” and have been embellished with gold and copper markers. Enjoy and remember there is always light deep within, even in the darkest of times.
