This piece has been juried into the Beyond the Construct exhibition and will be for sale and on display at the Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River, Oregon, along with one of my Blessing Totems from May 7 to May 29, 2021!

My first porcelain tulipierre! This first, one of a kind is very dear to me! I have made a few more, which are waiting to be glazed and will be added here soon. These pieces are very tricky to make: the clay must be at the perfect state of wetness to attach, and dryness to not collapse and hold up the weight as the coils are carefully placed. The slightly catawampus look gives it character!

In beautiful blues and greens, the openings allow for beautiful arrangements of your fresh garden bouquets. Porcelain decorated while still wet clay with stamps, and then glazed and fired to cone 6.
