One of the newest pieces out of the kiln. I love this porcelain tulipiere as it has a Middle Eastern quality, reflecting my heritage. These pieces are very tricky to make: the clay must be at the perfect state of wetness to attach, and dryness to not collapse and hold up the weight as the coils are carefully placed. The slightly cattywampus look gives it character!
