Blue bubbles give a feeling of flowing and bubbling water in this small hand painted plate perfect for side dishes, blueberries, fruit, nuts, or whatever suits your fancy. Perfect for spring and summer patio covid-safe small gatherings.

The front of the plate was painted with blue underglaze onto the damp porcelain and then was carved in a process called sgraffito to reveal the white porcelain underneath. The back was stamped with texture, and also carved into underglaze before bisque firing. Finally it glazed with a clear matte glaze and fired to cone 5. Food safe. Hand washing recommended.
